THE WOMAN BEHIND THE CONVERSATIONS

Hi, I'm Claire.

I'm a transformational coach, tarot reader and the woman behind Threshold.

Claire Harris
ClaireThe person behind the conversations.

That space between
knowing and beginning.

I work with women who have reached a point in their lives where something no longer feels right.

Sometimes it's obvious. A relationship, a career, a way of living that no longer fits.

Other times, it's much quieter. A feeling of dissatisfaction they can't quite explain. A pattern they keep repeating. A growing awareness that they're living according to expectations they never consciously chose.

They know they want something different, but they don't necessarily know what that looks like, or how to begin.

That's the space I'm interested in.

01 / A LITTLE MORE ABOUT ME

I've stood at thresholds, too.

I've experienced moments when the life I thought I was building changed completely.

I've known what it's like to lose the future I imagined, to find myself in unfamiliar circumstances, and to have to work out who I am when the roles and structures I've relied on are no longer there.

I've also experienced quieter thresholds. The moments when I've recognised an old belief, questioned a pattern or realised I no longer wanted to live in a particular way.

Those experiences have taught me that change isn't always a single brave decision followed by a wonderful new beginning.

Sometimes there's grief. Sometimes there's relief. Sometimes you know you've made the right choice and still feel completely lost.

And sometimes the biggest change happens internally, long before anything looks different on the outside.

I don't believe there's one correct way to move through these experiences, or that anyone should be rushed towards an answer.

How I work

My approach combines transformational coaching, reflective conversation, somatic tools and tarot.

My coaching training has given me ways to explore the beliefs, behaviours and patterns that influence our choices. Somatic tools can help bring attention to what we're experiencing in our bodies, not just the stories we're telling ourselves in our minds.

Tarot offers another way to explore what's happening. I use the cards as a reflective tool, opening up questions, perspectives and possibilities that might otherwise remain unexplored.

I don't use these approaches to tell you what to do.

I use them to help you recognise what is happening, understand what might be keeping you where you are, and explore the choices available to you.

Sometimes that means questioning something you've believed for years.

Sometimes it means acknowledging something you've been avoiding.

And sometimes it means giving yourself permission to want something different.

Why Threshold?

Read Threshold

Because I've come to understand that a threshold isn't just the moment we make a big life change.

It's the space where we begin to recognise that something needs to change, even if we're not ready to act on it.

And I've seen how easily women can remain in that space, not because they lack strength or ambition, but because the beliefs, expectations and responsibilities they've carried for years can make choosing something different feel almost impossible.

Threshold is my way of creating space for those conversations.

A place to explore without having to pretend you already know the answer.

A place where uncertainty, grief, curiosity and possibility can all exist together.

You don't need to know exactly where you're going to begin exploring where you are.

What it's like to work with me

I'm warm, curious and compassionate, but I'm also direct. If I notice an assumption or a pattern that might be worth exploring, I'll ask about it with curiosity, rather than assuming I know what it means for you.

You’re welcome to disagree, question what I’m noticing or tell me that a question doesn’t fit. We’ll pay attention to your pace, and you don’t have to explore something before you feel ready.

I don't believe meaningful conversations have to be serious all the time. There's room for laughter, humour and the occasional swear word alongside the difficult stuff.

You won't find me offering endless positive affirmations or telling you that everything happens for a reason. Sometimes things are genuinely difficult, and they deserve to be acknowledged rather than dressed up as opportunities for growth.

I'm interested in getting underneath what's happening. Not to analyse you or tell you what's wrong, but to understand what you're experiencing and help you see it from perspectives you might not have considered.

I won't rush you towards a breakthrough or push you into a decision.

But I also won't simply nod along if I notice something worth exploring.

You can expect an honest, thoughtful conversation, with space for the messy bits, the difficult questions and the moments when something suddenly makes sense.
